SUMMARY
Day 1
Upon arrival in Lima, transfer to the Miraflores Park Hotel, located in Miraflores, a residential area of Lima with incredible ocean views. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in a wonderful Ocean View Executive Suite for two nights.
Day 2
After breakfast, spend the morning touring downtown Lima, also known as "The City of Kings". Thereafter enjoy a visit to Larco Herrera Museum which houses an extraordinary collection of pre-Columbian art objects. Enjoy a fabulous set lunch menu in this enchanting place. Relax with the evening at leisure.
Day 3
Early morning transfer to the airport to take your flight to Arequipa connecting with your private transfer to Colca Canyon, one of the deepest canyons in the world, with small towns that preserve their customs and traditions. Overnight for two nights at Las Casitas del Colca. Las Casitas del Colca provides a rare opportunity to rest and reflect on the beauty and tranquility of the Colca valley. Spend a few days in harmony with the canyon and its community, complete with the freedom to do as little as you wish. Full board is included for the whole stay.
Day 4
Relax and enjoy with all the activities the hotel offers you: Bird watching, Cooking Lessons, Fishing, Horseback riding, Bike Rides, Thermal Waters, and marvel at the majestic flight of the Andean world’s sacred bird: The Condor. This activity starts very early in the morning with a 40-minute-bus ride to the place called the “Cruz del Condor”.
Day 5
Early morning transfer to Arequipa. Savor a delicious lunch in a typical restaurant and then enjoy an escorted tour of the city with a private car and guide and visit the Santa Catalina Monastery. This Colonial monument is over four centuries old, and contains a mini citadel inside the monastery walls. Later, transfer to the Casa Andina Private Collection Hotel, for a one night stay.
Day 6
In the morning, transfer to the airport, where you will take a flight to Cuzco. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to the Hotel Monasterio, and escorted to your Deluxe Oxygen Enriched Bedroom, for one night stay. In the afternoon there will be a private tour of the city of Cuzco and to the outstanding fortress of Sacsayhuaman. At the end of the day, enjoy an exquisite dinner at the Pre-Columbian Museum MAP Café.
Day 7
Morning transfer to the train station to take the luxurious Hiram Bingham train to Machu Picchu, with brunch on board included. Upon arrival check in for one night stay at the Machu Picchu Sanctuary Lodge in a wonderful Mountain View Room with Terrace. In the afternoon, enjoy a visit to Machu Picchu, followed by afternoon tea and dinner in the Tampu Restaurant.
Day 8
This morning enjoy the day at leisure in Machu Picchu. Return to Cusco via the Hiram Bingham train. Upon arrival at Poroy, your transfer will await to take you back to the Monasterio Hotel for two night stay in a Deluxe Oxygen Enriched Room.
Day 9
We have arranged a private transfer for a full day at the Sacred Valley, starting at the city of Chincheros, which still has the infrastructure of a typical Inca town. Afterwards, savor an exquisite lunch at the Huayocari house, where you can have a wonderful view of the valley. To continue this magical journey you will travel up the valley to Ollantaytambo, the last Inca town that still retains its original architecture.
Day 10
Morning transfer to the airport has been organized for you to board your plane to Lima, where a day room at the Miraflores Park Hotel has been arranged for your convenience. In the afternoon enjoy a visit to Mari Solari’s folk-art shop and private art collection followed by a personalized shopping tour. Later, transfer to Lima's international airport, where you will take your flight home.
