Early flight to Cuzco and Transfer to the Hotel Monasterio for a one night stay. Afternoon City Tour and visit to Scasayhuaman fortress (approximately 3 hours) Evening at leisure.
Day 2
After breakfast transfer from the hotel to the Poroy train station to take the Panoramic Vistadome train to Machu Picchu. Upon arrival start the guided visit of the citadel. Overnight at Machu Picchu Sanctuary Lodge.
Day 3
Return to Cusco via Vistadome train. Transfer to the Hotel Monasterio for a one night stay.
Day 4
Early morning transfer to the Airport to take your flight to Arequipa where a car will be waiting for you to take you to one of the deepest canyons of the world: Colca Canyon.
Overnight for three nights at Las Casitas del Colca with its delightful cottages providing a rare opportunity to relax and reflect on the beauty and tranquility of the Colca Valley. Full board is included for the entire stay.
Day 5 & 6
Relax and enjoy all the activities the hotel offers: bird watching, cookery courses, horseback riding, bike rides and marvel at the majestic flight of the sacred Andean bird: the Condor at the “Cruz del Condor”.
Day 7
Early morning transfer to Arequipa. Lunch at La Trattoria del Monasterio, an outstanding restaurant inside one of Arequipa’s leading architectural and historical attractions, the Convent of Santa Catalina, where you can enjoy a truly memorable culinary adventure that combines the finest of Arequipan and Italian cuisine. Later transfer to the airport for your flight to Lima, in time to connect with your international flight.
